What is LIFE Passages? - Sunday morning Christian Education comes to life with Bible-focused crafts, music, games and acitivities. Kids, ages 2 years - grade 5, explore the weekly Bible lessons and hear about God's uncondiitonal love for them. We meet Sundays from 10:15am - 11:00am..
What will kids learn? - We use the Spark curriculum which is a faith formation program designed to activate faith in children. It is a Bible-centered curriculum that encourages kids to open scriptyre and to explore God's Word through a variety of activities. Every lesson has four parts: Gather, Open the Bible, Activate Faith, and Send.
Who teaches the classes? Lord of Life Lutheran Church abides by a Safe Boundaries Policy. All teachers have had background checks and have been a member of the church for at least three months. All classes have a least two teachers in each classroom at all times.
How can I get involved? I'm so glad you asked! Parents and caregivers can be further engaged in lessons through weekly newsletters and follow-up questions. These take-home activities can be found outside the classrooms. There are countless other ways to keep God in the forefront of your daily activities. Praying, reading the Bible and having an open dialog about faith just to name a few.
